During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Luke Bryan shared his thoughts about why he believes Beyoncé received zero nominations at the CMAs for her chart-topping country record, Cowboy Carter. “Everybody loved that Beyoncé made a country album. Nobody’s mad about it,” Bryan said. “But where things get a little tricky, if you’re gonna make country albums, come into our world and be country with us a little bit. Beyoncé can do it exactly what she wants to do. She’s probably the biggest star in music. But come to an awards show and high five us. And have fun and get in the family, too.” Bryan has served as the host of the CMAs for the last three years, and is once again set to co-host this year’s awards ceremony alongside Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson. The 2024 CMA Awards will air live on ABC on November 20. (Taste of Country)
