New Documentary On Chris Brown’s Domestic Violence History Set To Air

A new documentary focused on Chris Brown’s history of abuse is coming from Investigation Discovery, the network responsible for Quiet on Set, the bombshell Nickelodeon child abuse docuseries. The new documentary is called Chris Brown: A History of Violence, and it is set to air on October 27, as part of the launch of ID’s third annual “No Excuse for Abuse” campaign. The film will examine Brown’s long history of domestic violence and assault charges and sexual assault allegations.

Back in 2009, Brown physically assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna, causing her to be hospitalized for severe facial injuries. Brown eventually plead guilty to felony assault in that case while accepting a plea deal. There have been a separate assault charge and a sexual assault lawsuit filed against Brown in the years since. A new accuser is revealed in the documentary trailer, with additional allegations against Brown. “I have not spoken about this matter publicly, but that’s the only way he can be stopped,” the accuser says in the preview.
